Wrestlemania 36 hits Tampa, Florida April 5th, 2020 and it’s going to be a can’t miss experience for any wrestling fan. With Tampa hosting this year’s event, I have first-hand experience with the area and the ultimate guide for traveling to Tampa and making the best of your stay.
Venues
There are a few main venues you should keep in mind during your travels around Tampa for WrestleMania. A lot of these venues will host multiple events throughout the week and it’s always a good idea to keep these locations in mind when planning.
Raymond James Stadium – 4201 N Dale Mabry Hwy
Amalie Arena – 401 Channelside Dr
The Cuban Club – 2010 N Avenida Republica de Cuba
The Ritz Ybor – 1503 E 7th Ave
Bryan Glazer Family JCC – 522 N Howard Ave
The Italian Club – 1731 E 7th Ave
Wrestlemania 36 Accommodations
With all the different venues located around Tampa for Wrestlemania 36, it’s important to find accommodations close to the action. The easiest route I would recommend is finding a room through Airbnb. With all the events going on around Tampa, you’ll barely spend much time there anyway.
Next up I would recommend the Marriot Tampa Westshore. This hotel is the official hotel for WrestleCon and will have free on-site parking and a free shuttle to Wrestlemania. The hotel also has a lot of other great amenities to make this extremely easier for you during your stay. This includes a restaurant so you can avoid some of the mayhem around Tampa for a quick bite.
Getting To Tampa For Wrestlemania 36
Getting to Tampa for Wrestlemania may be a bit complicated but you have options! You have 3 options for airports close to Wrestlemania. Tampa International Airport, Sarasota International Airport, and Orlando International Airport. Tampa International is definitely the closest of the 3 but if you can find a cheap flight arriving in one of the others, it might be worth it.
As always, I recommend parking your car at the airport and using CLEAR to get through to your flight quickly and easily. Once you arrive at one of the 3 airports, grab a Hertz rental car. Having your vehicle will make getting to the abundance of events so much easier.
Events
There are a ton of events going on throughout the week, I’m definitely going to miss a few. I’ve been to two Wrestlemania’s in Florida and you need to experience some of the events outside to get the full experience.
I recommend TailGate Joe’s for the ultimate day of Wrestlemania party. Enjoy great food and drinks right outside of the stadium and it’s a great option if you have a group of friends that don’t want to venture too far from the stadium.

Outside of the wrestling world, I would recommend making a trip to Busch Gardens. A great theme park with a huge variety in roller coasters. Looking for some good food? I recommend trying out Yah Mon. It’s a great Carribean restaurant with lots of options. You have to try the Carribean Chicken platter and of course some Oxtail.
